Sears gets bailed out by the whistle more than anyone in the SEC
Yep, but he penetrates so much he's got more odds of someone picking up a foul. ZZ needs to be doing the same thing. I mean he has been, I just want to see it as much as possible. Especially early in the game to possibly get the other team in foul trouble and keep the game close/we don't fall behind early.

Be even better if that happens and we beat Texas A & M next Saturday

I want us to win every game left, but if Bama and/or Florida are sitting at 5 or more losses and we're at 5 it should make it pretty easy for us to be a 1 seed outright.

Feel like Auburn, Duke are pretty much locked in...they're very unlikely to win 3 or more games which would be the minimum it would take for either to fall to a 2 seed. Bama has 4 losses now and Florida has 3.

Houston is the other team with a legit shot.

Duke and Auburn are for all intent and purposes locked in like you say.
You are also correct Houston is probably the only team that knocks SEC from 3 #1 seeds.
Only thing we can necessarily control is helping knock Bama off the one seed line.
We do that, and our #1 seed hopes go up a lot.
We are just below them in percentages to get that one seed right now.
I can't remember them exaclty but Bama had like 36% chance, we had like 30 % chance, and Flordia with like 26% chance. I think Kentucky even had an 8% chance at a #1 seed.
We all know that isn't happening, tho lol.

The rankings today had Houston as #8. The last two seed. Which is baffling to me.

If we’re within 1 game of UF and Houston we’re good. We might need to be 1 loss better than Bama to be ahead of them as their schedule has been tougher than ours.

Pearl is a good coach. I like what he said at half when he said if Auburn had a better coach they'd did a better job getting the ball to Broome.
Takes full responsibility for how his team plays.

At the same time, he also deserves some criticism there for letting Baker-M be a thug.
That sort of public self deprication is him patting himself on the back. It's planned. He does it too often

Texas just does not want to win this game. Kentucky went over 6 minutes without scoring a fg and Texas just can't build a lead. Their only offense is Johnson. That's it.
They lose this game and they don't deserve to make the tournament.

We still need help. I don’t think we can afford more than one more loss to have a shot. May have to settle for a single bye.

Well we have it coming up. But we gotta win out I think for the double bye.

Bama vs Mizzou
Bama vs Kentucky
Bama vs Mississippi State
Bama at TBA
Bama vs Florida
Bama at Auburn

We beat them and they lose 2 that'll put them at 5 losses and we'd have head to head.

Mizzou would need to lose 1 more, but they have an easier set of games remaining. Bama and Kentucky and both at home. Still they have to play at Arkansas, at Vandy and at OU...so who knows. We have the head to head.

Florida would need to lose at least 2 more. vs A&M, at Bama vs Ole Miss to end the year is their hardest remaining games.

Did I hear Florida lost Condon tonight with an ankle injury. If so, he's going to be out a bit!

Edit: (per Fear) : Condon out 1-2 weeks. Hurt in M.S. game.
