College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

There's a Jay Bilas quote that I like which is....."if there is 1 thing every team in the country has proven, it's that they can be beaten"

But, I see less wrong with Florida than any team in the country. I truly feel that way.

If you want me to list reasons, I can.

I don’t disagree that Florida is very good. Just not sure why this was the game that had you so sure it wouldn’t be a homer pick to have them going all the way. Oklahoma is not good.

Without Condon I am less confident in them but still good for sure.

Condon's coming back soon but that dovetails into 2 of my reasons.

1. Florida has a crazy amount of depth, particularly in the front court.
2. Florida is less reliant on any one individual than most of the top tier teams out there. If I said eliminate a Gator with two quick fouls in the first half or a bad game, and do the same thing with Auburn and Broome, Alabama and Sears, Duke and Flagg, etc., and those other squads are worse off. IMO.

Kansas is quickly fading and heading for an 8/9 game. Down 20 to BYU at halftime.
The stuff about Self retiring is really going to get some heat to it now. This might be the worst KU team he's fielded since he got there, and it has kind of come out of nowhere. Seems like forever ago, but they were preseason #1.

Was a huge miscalculation on KU’s part to pay top dollar money to add Dickinson a couple of off seasons ago. He puts up great individual numbers, but he ultimately makes a team worse imo

Everybody can take shoe company money now. Don’t have to have a free-pass from the NCAA.

The heck happened to Illinois? I thought at one point this season they may make a little noise in March.

The Illinois team isn't nearly as good as individuals thought... 9-8 in Big Ten play and 7th overall in standings...
They’ve apparently had some injuries and sickness. They didn’t shake Wisconsin’s player’s hands the other night because sickness has gone through their team. Underwood said he’s never seen anything like it.

Crazily, they are still 21st on KP. Top 31 in both offense and defense.
