College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Pitt hit 1 FG in the 1st half...one! And it was a 3-pointer. UVA has an elite defense, but how in the world does a P5 team only score one bucket in a half?!?

Stallings has given up. Team knows he’s gone. Pitt might be the worst ACC basketball team in the history of the conference.

Omg...refs blew that call.

Mississippi State was up 3 with 4 seconds left, State grabbed SC player to foul him and refs didn’t call it, kids shoots the 3 and ties game.

Headed to OT

He's probably lucky they didn't call it because it should have been intentional if they had called it. He grabbed the guy around the shoulders and made no attempt at the ball.

Glad MSU won. Didn't want them losing and refocusing for our game. Going to OT to have to work for it only helps. Their interior D doesn't look like it should cause us big problems.

They don’t ever call that intentional, you see it all the time. Even if they do call it intentional it’s SC shooting 2 free throws and getting ball back down 1 with maybe 1 second left.

They don't call it intentional often, but the foul is usually not grabbing a guy from behind with two hands either in a one possession game.

13th in the country in 2pt offense
18th in the country in blocked shots per game
52nd in the country in 2pt fg% defense

Ado & Holman are their main post guys, they go 6’10” & 6’11” both having even longer wingspans...now they aren’t heavy guys so we may be able to move them around a bit, but their post defense is one of their strengths statistically.

Well, USCe scored almost at will. It could have been an off-gsme for them. Admittedly, I've seen maybe two MSU games this year, so my opinion is based on a small sample.

Looked more like it was from the side as Kravitz tried to dribble around Weatherspoon and not from behind, maybe I saw it wrong.

The first grab was from the side. The second from behind. That is why I said it could have been called. Obviously no play for the ball. In any case, it ended up not mattering.

That’s more than I’ve watched them...I just went and looked to see what the stats said cause I was curious. I worry about our guards staying in front of Peters, State makes their living in the paint and with Peters breaking the defense down, they don’t do too much from deep.

Some really bad officiating going against Texas Tech in a 68-68 game. A walk not called on Kansas and an obvious charge called a block. 2 mins left.
