If we lost last 2 that would put us at 7 sec losses. UF, UK, Arky, and MSU are all at 7 losses now. We hold tie breaker over UF and UK. We have a double bye locked up.

I don't think so. Need the FL, Ark, and MS head-to-head results to evaluate the tie breaker. Possibly KY instead of FL too, but that makes TN 2-2 versus the group of 4. TN is 1-2 versus FL/Ark/MS.

I'm looking at the standings. This is a spectacular bottleneck. I am assuming Miss. St is being overlooked right now due to it's OOC schedule?

Kentucky plays Florida so both of them can’t be 11-7. So let’s say it’s...

Tennessee

Arkansas
Florida

In this scenario Tennessee is 1-2, State 2-1, Ark 1-2, UF 2-1....so State and UF would get 2/3 in some order and I assume Ark gets 4th over us because of H2H

Or

In this scenario UT 2-2, UK 2-2, Ark 1-2, State 2-1...so State gets 2nd, UT 3rd and UK 4th

This all means nothing because we are not gonna lose our final 2. Hell we are gonna win out and Auburn is gonna lose at Arkansas this week....and we're about to get a share of the title.

To avoid the 1st scenario TN must win 1 or MS, FL, and Ark must not go 6-0. TN has not locked up the double bye, but 7 games would have to go against TN to lose it.

Yes, UT has locked up the double bye, according to every highlight show, newscast and article, I have read or watched is wrong. Which could be possible if only one of the three were making that claim, but all 3 mediums are saying it. U are over thinking it, TGO.

If the 4-way tie tie breaker is head to head, then there is one scenario where TN finishes 5th. FL, MS, and Ark win out and TN goes 0-2. TN's magic number is 1 in the 7 remaining games.

I usually don't believe everything I hear and/see, but every article, newscast and sports show, I've watched has said UT has clinched the double bye. I understand the scenario, u all are giving, but apparently the tie-breaker isn't head-to-head in a 4-way tie.

Three-Team Tie (or more)

When three or more teams are tied, the following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken. If two teams re- main tied after a tiebreaker provision, the two-team tiebreaker formula will be used.

Best winning percentage of games played among the tied teams (Example: Team A is 3-1, Team B is 2-2 and Team C is 1-3 - Team A would be seeded highest, Team B second-highest and Team C lowest of the three).
Best winning percentage of the tied teams versus the No. 1 seed (and proceed- ing through the No. 14 seed, if necessary).
If two teams remain, coin flip by the Commissioner.
If three or more teams remain, draw by the Commissioner.

I love the BBF and u all have done work, it just must be a different tie-breaker for 4- way ties. I'm not knocking u all, I know the NFL has a funky tiebreaker for multiple teams being tied, also

Nope. I think the media that are saying TN has wrapped up a double-bye might be hacks and are repeating each other's story.

In that 4-way tie scenario FL and MS are 2nd and 3rd. TN and Ark are tied for 4th and then the two way tie-breaker comes into play... which Atk has over TN.

I want the name of every media outlet and media person that is reporting that TN has wrapped up the double-bye.

TN has effectively wrapped up a double bye as 7 games have to go against them for that to not happen.

I do know Arkansas is just 1-3 against UT, UK, MSU and Florida. MSU would be 2-2, so depending on who wins the KY-Fla game UT would be either 2-2 or 1-2, which must somehow clinch our double bye. It was a Yahoo article on he internet, channel 10 local and SECN. Damn, I know u all have some Battered Vol Syndrome, but just accept that we have double bye locked up, now

UK is not part of the scenario. FL beats them.

TN goes 0-2 while FL, MS, and Ark win out and TN is the 5th seed.

This is math. Has nothing to do with BVS.
