Picking up a Trent Richardson would signal they intend to run the ball more - i.e. more balanced offense. I would be all for that.

The D that won the Super Bowl was much better than the statistics indicated. Having Bob Sanders and Booger McFarland for the stretch run was crucial. We need a defense which is at least average.

I think it had more to do with the fact that they played the Chiefs, Ravens, and Bears. The only decent offense they saw (Patriots) hung up 34 on them.

I agree those weren't great passing teams but they all had decent running games and the Colts were much, much better against the run in the playoffs. Patriots had the passing game which hurt the Colts but remember, 14 of those points came off a pick-6 and a long kickoff return.

Exactly. Most Colts fans in Tennessee are barnacles on Petting Manning's undercarriage and will follow him wherever he goes. I am sure that some have bonded with the team and will be fans for life, but that isn't the majority. The Colts will be fine without a lot of their state of Tennessee fans. It has a lot to do with Tennessee formerly having no professional sports teams and fans just following individual players due to the lack of a local or state team. This, of course, is no offense to actual Colts fans.

I only became a Colts fan when they drafted Manning, but I've grown to like them a lot. I needed an NFL team back when I was a kid, and the Colts were the easy choice since they had my favorite player of all time. It helps that I really like Luck, as well (assuming the Colts draft him).

The Titans lost me when they didn't pick the nickname "copperheads". The titans have the worst team logo (uniforms included) in football.

Browns, seahawks, bears, bills, jaguars are all uglier. Then again Titans unis are not ugly to begin with.
