Combating Russian Election Interference

The New Yorker and wiki link would have taken an hour to read. The WaPost was behind a paywall. That left me with the wired article. The wired article was full of "it mattered, trust us. They created narratives and you bought it." Except the only people I've seen who bought into to false narratives were already crazy to begin with, and their votes weren't changing. The whole point of the Russian interference was not to sway the election, but to further the political divide and weaken our government. And it was successful, but we were already divided. They are just poking us. We need to ignore their **** and work on middle America. Not idiots on Twitter.

Man you’re gonna need more than Wikipedia and a couple Opinion articles that sound like they were shaped out of science fiction novels to change my mind. At the end of the day the target audience that they needed to swing were not millenials in California who are highly tied to social media and media ads. The folks in the key swing areas that won Trump the election are middle class 30+ yr. old to near retirement individuals who aren’t continuously logged in. These folks are going to be more interested in middle class job market growth vs. negative Hilary ads.

Now like the Wired article you referenced this is just my opinion and likely more believable than that dudes science fiction article.

What concrete steps, if any, has the Trump administration publicly taken to:

(1) Determine the scope, nature and bredth of alleged foreign interference in the 2016 Presidential race;

(2) Identify the nation(s) responsible; and

(3) Prevent it from happening again.

Not asking for a rehash of the intelligence community's findings here, rather looking for leadership on the issue by Trump.
$100k in Russian social media ads, Hillary Clinton's open server, and the Obama DHS attempting to hack the state of Georgia's election...

There are a lot more ideas floating around on that side than the Nationalist stance of Border walls and tariffs. How about stopping Russia from f***ing with our elections with some sanctions or, at the least, name calling? Hell he hasn't even said "cut it out" .
Yea, wonderful ideas.

Open borders

Healthcare to illegals in Cali, while 60,000 Americans live on the streets

Infanticide

Flying a flag that has nothing to do with America above a Government building

Socialism

Green deal

90% tax on corporations

Illegals given driving licenses

Banishing the Electoral college

16 year olds to vote

Gun free zones

Drag queens reading anything to anyone under the age of 18

Just a few right off the top of my head.

taxing the rich at 70%

This while raising wages across the board with a $15 minimum wage. You think you have seen companies leave Flee America and the rich do their banking offshore in the past? Wait until something like this is enacted. I don’t think they realize how dangerous some of these proposals would be to all of America.

The $15 minimum wage across the board I believe is going to be one of the greatest threats to our job market and capitalism.

Oh they realize it, that's why they want to implement them

They know that. Everything, or "ideas" as mick says, is to destroy and crumble America. They want it to be a 💩hole like Venezuela.

Figured this as good a place as any to post this.

Not many people are aware of the ongoing national state of emergency or the Executive Order from 2018 regarding election interference

If any of the Dominion Voting machine allegations are real, I suspect this EO would come into play

Text of a Notice on Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect To Foreign Interference In or Undermining Public Confidence In U.S. Elections | The White House

Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election | The White House

After the Washington Post article that the FBI lied about 95% of forensic hair sample evidence over a 20 year period, does anyone still believe in Russian election interference?

Or is the intelligence community war mongering to bolster their own budgets?

It's not surprising, that will be the next scare of 2022. Russians hacking against dems, and another silly covid-20 scare.
