So by this logic we will never beat Florida again. If we have to win 4-5 straight in order to win once that sucks.

Florida went 4-8 this year. They are more than beatable.

Where were you on September 21st, 2013?

'Cause I was watching us get throttled/out-coached by this so called "beatable" Florida...

I like the "spare time at work" haha

So I'm not sold on 8-4 unless Worley plays like a changed... Crompton. I know Georgia may not be great and I def think SCjr will drop at least another game and Florida will be back.

So that means what? That we will never beat them? You're just happy because Vandy beat a severely depleted UF.

I was hanging on the edge of my seat, hoping I was wrong about Peterman... but I wasn't. He was terrible. But I think losing his job is what helped Worley improve form then on. He needed to sit like that to show nothing was guaranteed to him.

Florida was very beatable in the game against us this year. We just showed up with too little too late with the QB issues. Won't have that next year!

yet we didn't even have a chance in the second half against them.

Momentum had already swung to UF in their stadium. And our achilles heel this season was a running QB. Had Driskel stayed in I think we could have had a shot. Murphy tore us up.

I second that.... Infact I think we have seen worley's peak (but what a peak it was... USCjr)...

But next year is probably going to dobbs or feguson....

You lost me at the Florida game.

LOL .. No offense to anyone but I don't see the Vols going into Athens in 2014 and getting a win. And by the way, it's AARON MURRAY, not ANDY MURRAY.

Mason will be fine at QB and if he gets beat out that means you have a stud named Brice Ramsey to deal with. But Georgia is bringing back all of their weapons which means, barring injuries prior to the game again, they won't start this years game against UT without their best receiver, Malcolm Mitchell and the best RB in the country in Todd Gurley.

My bad on the Aaron Murray thing. I corrected myself in the thread after someone else pointed it out. Don't know why I put Andy. Guess I was thinking of the tennis player.

Also, Gurley may be back but it doesn't matter. We play Georgia really close every single year no matter what the rankings or who has the "studs." UT goes into Athens and gets the W. Book it!...or I'll eat the crow all night.

You think Worley is going to throw 27 TD's and 10 ints. Mind you that we are losing our entire o-line and he threw 8 picks last season, and didnt even play the last 4 1/2 games. Would have easily thrown more picks than td's had he played the entire bama game. Worley isn't playing another snap, it's not all his fault but he just isn't ready for this level of competition and doesnt even fit the scheme, it's quite obvious the guy doesnt want to take a hit on a read-option. Im not saying dobbs or fergie are the answer because we havent even seen one, and havent seen the other but for a few games.

The ironic thing is that the vols have been more successful against UGA in Athens than in Knoxville.

True, but Butch doesn't have the best road record with the Vols. So, I'll believe it when i see it.

I am well aware bro! By all means Dobbs or Fergy fits better. But that doesn't mean they are automatically the better man for the job. Worley will be the starter because of his experience and the respect he has from the team. I'd even bet a crisp, clean 5 dollar bill on it.

I'll take that bet. Barring a rash of injuries, Worley has started his last game at Tennessee.

Not so much logic on my part as hyperbole. But no, after the last 2 decades, I will never predict UT to beat Florida. I'll have to see it with my own 2 eyes to believe its possible.

Finally, even when Florida goes an historically bad 4-8.... they still beat us. #frustrated
