Tony McDaniel was a stud DT for us as an underclassman. Had he not assaulted that guy on the bb court, everyone here would have remembered his name.
Deserved to be booted according evidence I read, so proud of Phil. But, that's not how you win SEC titles.

Tony McDaniel was a defensive lineman. During the spring, he was really coming in to his own. He was ready for a break out season.

While playing a pickup basketball game on campus, a guy was playing real rough defense on McDaniels. He got angry and swung. He hit the guys jaw and broke it.
Of course, the guy wanted to sue Tony for his future earnings in court.

He entered the supplemental draft and was drafted by Jacksonville. He also played in Miami and Seattle.

Congrats to Tony McDaniel. The Seahawks dominated every phase of the game tonight. They earned their Super Bowl Championship.

McDaniel, Colquitt and Manning did things that jeopardized the UT football program. McDaniel beat up student badly. Manning stuck his bare testicles on a female trainer's face in the training room. Colquitt had alcohol problems.

If it is fair to forgive Manning for what cost UT a lot of money, it is then fair to forgive McDaniel for his role in his fight and Colquitt for his personal demons.

Oh yes it is verified. UT paid the settlement and it was very costly.

18-22 year old guys do stupid things. The good thing is that most grow up and try to do good things with their lives. Manning has, McDaniel has, Colquitt has, and it looks like Bray is doing the same thing in KC.

He did more than moon Jamie Nautright. I have seen accounts of him tea bagging her and accounts of Manning sticking his butt cheeks and his rectum on her face. There were witnesses to what she said and that is why UT paid her about $400,000 in a settlement.

With grudge holding like this, maybe both should donate some of that big NFL money to Alabama instead of Tennessee. Or maybe even Vanderbilt. They'd more likely get a "Thank you" there than from UT haters who arrogantly claim or try to act like they've never done anything stupid in their lives.

According to wiki he also was later arrested for battery of his girlfriend, which was later reduced to a much lesser charge.

The only thing verified is she said he sat on her face. No one has said that happened. How could that happen examining for a stress fracture unless the fracture was in his bunghole? The mooning story makes a lot more sense.

McDaniel blindsided a student and then walked off the court with no regrets while the student was knocked out on the floor. I don't think he played for UT after that and then went pro. The video was one of the most disturbing things I've seen. I always wondered how they settled that case. It's on video and I'm sure you can YouTube it.

If I remember correctly Colquitt got two DUIs in the same week.

wow the boosters must have stepped up big for that pay out,I remember hearing that it had happened,i didn't know what the pay off was

McDaniel sucker punched the guy and fractured his cheek bone. The guy had to have emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted into his face.

Of course he sued him. He should have.
