You guys are missing the real story here. Texas outbid LSU for Herman and is trying to save face by acting like they're doing something noble by keeping O

Kiffin would have a more stress free environment with his buddy Orgeron at LSU, but in terms of his career he wouldn't be gaining anything and he could be losing a bit by leaving the country's top program. I'm sure his wife never figured she'd spend so much of her life amid southern yahoos. Kiffin might already be driving a big truck--Stockholm Syndrome.

yep was wondering why so many was congratulating the ole snake. But then I remembered how they attack every fan that don't agree with them & I understood.

Orangutan is a snake....I remember him and Kitten calling recruits telling them to not go to class as they were snaking out of town. F him.

As for his voice, he sounds like he has a Brillo Pad lodged in his throat every time he speaks.

I think there is a huge difference between "give Dooley" more time and "give Butch" more time. In fact, it's silly.

Never liked him. I had hard feelings toward that whole group even before they screwed us. I admit that I didn't have an open mind nor give them a chance. Also admit that I was one of the people pissed that we fired Fulmer. I know that last statement makes me in the minority, but I will live with it. :happy:

Guess you are part of the 'fire everybody' crowd that supports a philosophy that has never worked. I don't give a damn about Orgeron, but I am happy LSU made this hire. They will be on probation in 2-3 years.

Bingo that's why I thought it was funny that LSU saluki poster that was acting like if LSU still had an offer available. LSU was only leverage. So we all know if Herman would come he would be their guy. If Orgeron was their first choice then they could have done that after Les was let go.

LSU had the chance to go out and make a big name, proven hire and they did not.
They get what they deserve.
LSU fans will want to crucify Coach O by midseason next year.
INB4 no big name coach wants to go there, pay the big $$$ and he would.............. Money talks.......
