That certainly does put things into perspective. I think he was worth a gamble but not with the price tag going up.

So LSU fires Miles because he can't beat Alabama, and are going with Coach O? Ok....that should work out well.

And I'm not getting this Kiffin to LSU thing. I get they are connected but seems like a bad move for Kiffin.

If I remember correctly Kiffins contract is up at end of year, I believe he is gone regardless, and if a HC job he is interesred in doesn't come open I could see him at LSU as an OC Asst HC

With Kiffin is his OC, which he will be because it has already been confirmed to us, and he's keeping Dave A as DC he doesnt have to concern himself with Xs and Os. All he has to do is be CEO and a masterful recruiter as he is. If people can see past UT and realize they'll be on pace to contend for a NC in 2 yrs or so. The reason being Kiffin is 1 of the best OCs in the country and his DC is likewise. Aslo recruiting is easy in the Bayou because kids grow up dreaming of playing for LSU, an its a plethora or talent down there.

Kiffin might make a run with Ogre, but he is selling himself short in doing so in my opinion. For my money, even though I despise him, Kiffi is worth more that what Ogre will be making and this is a silly move.
