Congress Criminal Referral Clinton, Comey, McCabe, Lynch, Strzok, and Page to DOJ

Sure. If I pick it’ll be Trump making a stupid face. (Good luck finding one where he isn’t.) You’ve held out hope on this more than anybody else. Seems fitting.
I believe in Mike Flynn. I believe he was set up and maliciously prosecuted. I believe his previous counsel was incompetent at best. I believe he took a plea deal to shield his son from prosecution.

I’m fine with picking if you don’t want to, but honestly anything would be better than looking at John Currie IMO.

And no you can’t waive it. I’ll pick one if nobody else does. You’ve been a good sport about it.
RockyTop85 you are a standup guy....sometimes ;)

Gotta get a few barbs in...lol. Don't be bitter.
How am I being bitter? I posted weeks ago that DOJ dropping the charge wasn’t in the spirit of what I said but that I would honor my promise because it technically fit with what I said.

If I was bitter about it I’d say that DOJ dropping the case wasn’t him withdrawing his plea and refuse to honor it or demand an asterisk. Those both seem a bit childish. His charge is being dropped. I didn’t think it would happen without a pardon. I was incorrect, or at least incorrect enough to take my medicine.

I assume the judge granted the motion?

Lighten up. All in good fun.

You’re right.

It’s a political move to a) delay sentencing until the second term so Flynn will have a better chance of pardon and b) allow Trump to say Flynn got treated unfairly to justify the pardon.

It has next to no legal merit. In fact, if Flynn is allowed to withdraw his plea, I’ll sport a Trump avatar for the rest of this site’s existence.
Since he didn’t withdraw his plea, I think it’s only fair the self-imposed time limit (for the rest of this site’s existence) be reduced to 1 year or whatever you think is fair.
