For the eleventy billionth time, you imbeciles, the investigation began BEFORE the dossier was given to the FBI. Barr's recent comments, and those of his team at DOJ, are needlessly adding fuel to the nonsensical fire that the dossier was the source/cause of the investigation. That is just flat out wrong.
All this is doing is proving what some Democrats said from the beginning: Barr is a political hack appointee, hired by Trump specifically to discredit the investigation. I CANNOT WAIT to see what is causing this fussilade of irresponsible commentary by Barr, designed to feed the irrational hysteria on the right.
I don't know. As far as I can tell, that is part of the FISA process we have not yet seen. I can only hope it is included in the Mueller report.
I will add this: I do recall some time ago a lot of bragging that Trump had the power to declassify the FISA warrants and a lot of Republicans urging him to do so. He did not. Ask yourself why when it comes to that question. Why hasn't Trump declassified the FISA warrants, if they do in fact show some sort of stilted and illegitimate investigation of him?
And why is Barr, one week before releasing the redacted report, suddenly dropping hints about investigating the investigators?
I think its pretty obvious. But I get that others would prefer to just take delight in the fomenting of the Trump/Fox/Q narrative than face the reality of the situation.
