Trump had to let the investigation play out or be accused of obstructing the investigation. The bad news for the Dims is that their flashy offense turned the ball over on downs without any measurable progress, and their defense is going to be found even more inept than their offense. This is gonna be a fun game, and the Dims are about to get their teeth kicked in at their own homecoming game.

Declassifying entire documents is one thing. Cherry picked declassification is quite another. And we've already seen how fair and balanced Barr is.

It's funny to watch. When the Dems were at bat, these guys were looking for every opportunity to accuse team trump of batter interference. Now that Trump is at bat, they're shrieking that Trump should have interfered with the batter, and what in the hell gives him the right to hit a walk off homer?

NSA probably should have an opinion in a reasonable world ... one without liberals. However, there is the liberal argument now that Assange is protected by free speech, and was free to release anything that came his way. Never mind that the information he traded was stolen property ... It seems like there are laws having to do with conveyance, etc of stolen property, too. Let's also not forget that in the Obama years, that the president was the ultimate authority in deciding what should be classified or declassified, so if Trump instructs Barr, it seems like he's following recent precedent set by the Dims themselves. That would make it a good old fashioned case of what's good for the goose ...

The only glimmer of hope is that Trump is the outsider ... the boor in the room or the bull in the china shop ... the guy who would upset the corrupt little world that the DC elite have established for themselves. Trump is the guy that has always scared the crap out of DC because he's the guy who could expose it all since he's not really a part of it. It's the reason both Ds and Rs hated and opposed Trump; both are part of the swamp, and Trump is the "fool" who just might find the plug.
