I'll be mad if Tennessee makes a low cost hire of a mid-major head coach or assistant coach. I don't get why being confident about hiring Coach Walz pisses so many people off?

I agree I’m tired of seeing them do this to teams. This game going on right now is a sea of green and Missippi State is 3 time zones off their normal schedule.

I’m not opposed to the games in the Sweet 16 on all being played in the same place. Somewhere neutral like Denver or Vegas.

Right, so nobody attends and the womens tourney which loses over 10M/year now loses even more money b/c of decreased attendance. Not many people are flying all over the country and then to the final 4, if their team makes it. WCBB isn't like MCBB, where the men can turn out general fans to the game. This is why WCBB has 1st/2nd round on campus,while men have neutral sites and can still draw massive crowds. Even being on campus the attendance at many schools was poor and some of the regional site Sweet 16 for the women were not good. NCAA does things this way for a reason and until WCBB has the draw of the general public and not just fan bases they will continue.

In the men’s tournament, Virginia had to play Purdue in Louisville. 182 miles from their campus.

It's not rewarding, it's logistics of the sites in a particular year. For example Baylor is #1 overall, but there is no site remotely close to Baylor this year. 2020 and 2021 Baylor can potentially go to final 4 staying in state. 2021 Texas could potentially go to final 4 staying in Austin and then the final 4 is in San Antonio. Notre Dame has the same in state logistics as Baylor, while 2020 the closest site to UConn is Indiana.

Put all four one seeds in the bracket as close as possible to their home city.
Then do not put any 2-16 teams in a bracket regional host within 200 miles of their home city.

Your whining is hilarious, though it has already been explained before and also the idea of an S curve seems to beyond you also.

Let's make thise even sumpler for you. MSU should not have been a 1. UConn and Oregon had Better SOS, RPI, etc... UConn had a major OOC win which MSU did not, MSU's SOS was 16 to 18 spots worse despite being in the supposedly powerful SEC. UConn was the 4 overall at the last reveal and won out. MSU beat SC as their best win all year, UConn's best win was a 19 pt throttling of a #1 seed ND on their home court. Oregon again had a better SOS and RPI by a large margin than MSU and beat them head to head. Oregon had more wins against ranked teams and P12 is a better conference 3 teams in the top 10 all year

MSU should have never jumped from 6th to 4 by beating after the reveal till the tourney field a 14 loss Arkansas, 12 loss TN, 10 loss Missouri..all unranked. When the 2's of Oregon and UConn which were ahead of them in the last reveal had significantly better SOS and RPI's.
