They just make the questions be turned in before hand so he knows exactly what will be asked in the Q and A.

BHO did use a tele when speaking to a group of grade school kids. That is sad.

Hockey mom is irrelevant. Except if you are a Dem, then she seems to scare the crap out of ya.
She was giving a speech. Of course he used a tele last night.

I was at this thing. If you are going to make the teleprompter joke, you should consider being better prepared for your speech.

Hell, one of the guys before her talked about his cue cards, right after Phil Valentine had made a teleprompter joke.

I have no problem with people using whatever means necessary to deliver a speech. It's one of the fundamental lessons of public speaking. I do have a major problem with people jumping all over others for doing exactly that, especially when they do the same damn thing.

That is a great point E.
The only time I have made fun of him for using a tele is when in front of grade school kids. Is he that worried about what he will say to them, or is it that he does not know what he will say until the tele is turned on?
What is the excuse for not being able to pronounce a word, twice, in your own speech?

Well, like every big politician he has a speech-writer, but I seriously doubt he hasn't at least looked at an outline before hand. I agree that he didn't need the teleprompter to talk to kids, and the mispronunciation thing is pretty bad.

hey, mr wizard, in the Think Progress video you linked to, you couldn't see anything.

the picture above is pretty pointless as well, a couple scribbled words on a palm is not a teleprompter driven speech to 6th graders.
