It's what happens when you move manufacturing elsewhere and no longer control your own destiny. It's a small scale demonstration of what we face when we are eventually at war with China. Just maybe the previews will shock people into reason - and that doesn't mean kowtowing to China.

We have millions of new bellies to feed and babies to care for, and we can't even stock the shelves with enough Tylenol for our own kids. They've already pissed momma's off over the formula thing, if they have to compete with illegals for drugs for the babies, look the F out.

I'm still waiting on the explanation for why we have to cull chickens to allegedly stop the spread of bird flu when they know good and damn well that the flu is mostly carried by migratory birds. Plus, it is a flu virus. Some poultry will get sick and possibly die. The overwhelming majority will be fine afterwards. What are they really doing by culling them?

I've been watching and talking to parents, and formula is still scarce. It's fricking ridiculous. When baby formula and the most basic of antibiotics are hard to find, it ain't good. Now this looming CV19 outbreak with the ChiComs.... it could really get ugly, as we (ridiculously) rely on them for so many things.

I've never been a "doomsdayer," but I'm starting to stock up on necessities and saving emergency cash and goods to trade, if necessary. Needless to say, $3000 to watch the Orange bowl or $1000 to see the Kentucky game just isn't in the cards.
