Could Worley end up being one of the top:

If he keeps improving, and protects the ball he will easily be the best.

He will have a ton of weapons that have had an entire year + offseason to work with him.

QB's in the sec for 2014?
No Mettenberger
No Manziel
No Murray
No McCarron
No Shaw
No Carta-Samuels......scratch that one
No Franklin

The kid has one decent half (finally) and you think he has "arrived"?? He simply doesn't have the skill set to be an elite SEC QB. I think he's a great kid and all...but top tier?? No.

i was joking.

a thread on the florida board was started talking about a qb controversy.

everyone laughed. it was agreed that murphy starts or we start throwing piss bombs.

Who originated the urine bomb anyway? Heard LSU and Florida have made it famous on opposing fans. Any truth to this 99?

Didn't say he arrived. If he keeps improving, what's left next year? A bunch of what ifs and freshmen and sophomores nobody has heard of. It's a just an observation.

i really don't know.

i run with it as a joke now, but i have never heard this alleged by any fan base other than tennessee.

what i have heard is that fulmer's wife was hit with a cup of urine one year. i don't know if that is true or not.

however, half the population of the state of tennessee has also claimed to have been hit with one.

truthfully, i have never seen one thrown.

I'd take Murphy, Whitlow, Thompson, Prescott, Sims, Jennings and Marshall just to name a few over Worley.

The SEC is loaded with potentially very good to great QB's including Tennessee.

I still don't see him as the starter in 2014! At some point, bUTch will have to give the freshmen some real playing time in games, in order to keep them happy.
So.... he has to let one of them start regardless of whether they're the best option just to keep them happy?

Worley is VERY likely to finish this season as the starter and start all next year. If he can, Jones will preserve the RS of both Fr.

He can't keep both of them on hold until Worley graduates. He will end up losing one of them in the process and my guess would be that Dobbs would go first.
But if he starts one of them then the other will stay also? If the goal is keeping both of them at all costs (which it isn't), the fastest way to lose one of them is to play the other one.

Fergy loves U.T. and committed real early. Dobbs committed later, only after he ruled out A.S.U.
I think both stay until one takes a clear lead. Dobbs seems to really like UT as well and especially his major which is NOT offered just anywhere. I could see him staying if he never starts.

IMHO, Peterman probably leaves. He probably needs to leave to get a fresh start. I like him and hate it but he will struggle to ever have confidence at UT.

I think both of the others stay. HOWEVER, if UT wins 7 or 8 games this year then has a "good" 6-8 win season next year... it is possible that both of the Fr get recruited over.

If Worley continues to improve then he's going to be a guy who wins some games and posts some very good numbers. Jones will be able to sell that.

All world there. may have to revisit this post in the future.

Maybe so I hope we do. I also added Nick Marshall and Bo Wallace may also be back. I'm not saying their all great but Worley has played one decent half of football against an SEC opponent.

Totally agree. If somehow we beat USCe? Jk, glad we have an off week.
