I still don't see him as the starter in 2014! At some point, bUTch will have to give the freshmen some real playing time in games, in order to keep them happy.
So.... he has to let one of them start regardless of whether they're the best option just to keep them happy?
Worley is VERY likely to finish this season as the starter and start all next year. If he can, Jones will preserve the RS of both Fr.
He can't keep both of them on hold until Worley graduates. He will end up losing one of them in the process and my guess would be that Dobbs would go first.
But if he starts one of them then the other will stay also? If the goal is keeping both of them at all costs (which it isn't), the fastest way to lose one of them is to play the other one.
Fergy loves U.T. and committed real early. Dobbs committed later, only after he ruled out A.S.U.
I think both stay until one takes a clear lead. Dobbs seems to really like UT as well and especially his major which is NOT offered just anywhere. I could see him staying if he never starts.
IMHO, Peterman probably leaves. He probably needs to leave to get a fresh start. I like him and hate it but he will struggle to ever have confidence at UT.
I think both of the others stay. HOWEVER, if UT wins 7 or 8 games this year then has a "good" 6-8 win season next year... it is possible that both of the Fr get recruited over.
If Worley continues to improve then he's going to be a guy who wins some games and posts some very good numbers. Jones will be able to sell that.
