Totally agree. If somehow we beat USCe? Jk, glad we have an off week.

We needed that week off we would get blowed away this week but with the week off we will be the ones that's doing the azz kicking instead of the ones that's getting a azz kicking.:bottom:

I'm going to stand up for Worley. He doesn't have control of the offense and is just a stand in for Peyton Manning right? At any rate he is slowly learning his way around college football and he looks pretty good. I suspect without reading all the post to this thread, he will be a good one with memorable games that we will remember in the process of rebuilding the mighty Tennessee! Go Big O!

Worley will continue to improve as the receivers get better. I hope the 2 freshmen will push him next year.

i was joking.

a thread on the florida board was started talking about a qb controversy.

everyone laughed. it was agreed that murphy starts or we start throwing piss bombs.

So you DO go to a FL board? Where do you find the time after spending all day on TN boards?

maybe not Worley, but yes, a UT QB will tear up the SEC next season like Indian food tears up my lower intestines.

Of course he can. Those dissing his "talent" had no idea what they were talking about. But he has a LONG, LONG way to go before we start having this conversation. He'll have to continue to improve in every facet of being a QB.

i know, but the talent is there,I'm thinking it is a confidence thing with him, hopefully Palardy will step in and help guide him :)

to me,he is still a freshmen, people have got to remember,he hasn't had a lot of playing time and been threw how many coaches ?

Lol. This is the most wishy washy place on earth... Going from saying he's the worst Vol QB ever, to potentially the Best QB in the SEC next year.

Edit: .. within a week.

IMO Worley and this team will fall somewhere in the middle of these expectations. We are likely to lose to a team we are favored and vice versa..wishy washy team if you think about it..

Wait til he throws an INT in practice this week.

love Worley because he's a Vol but talent wise he is very limited.

Like many, you are confusing talent with production. Talent is potential, production is results. Worley has the arm strength and size to be a successful SEC QB - he has talent. Other than the 2nd half against GA he has not produced at the level needed in the SEC. Let's hope the light came on and he continues to move forward from the GA game. If so, then he'll be the QB in 2014. If not, then we're back to hunting a QB.

No, just no. SEC usually has quite a few good QB. Worley can be serviceable but I never see him actually being a good/great college QB in this conference.
