Countdown to Northam Resignation

And to think if the Fairfax and Northam accusations were reversed, this might be labeled the "War of Northam Aggression".

Has he called the Fairfax accuser heroic?

Cory Booker calls Christine Ford 'heroic' for coming forward about sexual assault

Don't act like there isn't a double standard.

You set the standard with your BS post. Now that you got called out on a fictitious quote from Booker, passed around twitter, and got spewed back out by you, you come back with he hasn't called her "heroic" yet. When she testifies before congress let me know if Booker calls her "heroic" for coming forward to testify. Better yet show me where he has said anything negative or positive about her.

Right wing looney land must take some effort to identify with. Good job.

It's not a bs post. The guy is paraphrasing in the tweet. It's no different than "Mexico will pay for the wall."

All the guy was showing is that there's a double standard. Reading comprehension is hard for some of you all.

If I pull a 100 Democratic tweets dragging Kavanaugh through the mud and made out to be an animal how many can you match me saying the same thing about Northam before you have to stop? Maybe 15?

"paraphrasing" from what actual quote? There was no source linked so it was complete made up BS.

See I don't care about some random Right wingers tweet just as I don't care about random left wingers tweets. I have higher standards than to pass off garbage tweets. You are extremely adept at doing so.

A Republican Virginia state senator oversaw a yearbook at the Virginia Military Institute that included racist images and slurs, adding him to the list of scandal-plagued Virginia politicians that has thrust the normally decorous state capital Richmond into a state of tumult.

State Sen. Tommy Norment, a Republican who represents much of the area north of Newport News, served as managing editor of the 1968 yearbook, which featured images of blackface and Confederate battle flags, and contained racist slurs, including the N-word.

Here's the rub, if it was a Republican in the same position, do you honestly believe all these Democrats would remain silent? Or do you believe they'd rally around the alleged victim and demand an investigation and resignation? Evidence certainly supports the latter. So why are they remaining silent? Simply because of the politics in play? It certainly doesn't come across as if they believe what they have previously said, for if they did, they would be jumping on this. No, what comes across is this kind of allegation only matters if it's against an opponent. Politics before humanity. It's an inconsistent message.

You know you couldn't find the same amount so the double standard is a "yes" from you and noted.

1979. Not too far removed from civil rights. Not a lot of people were big fans of non Whites back then..everywhere.

My white grandmother married my black grandfather about 5 years after 1979 in WV.

Maybe that's why I just have a hard time getting this.

Because this wasnt the way I grew up.

Top Va. Republican Senator Edited 1968 Yearbook With Blackface Photos, Racial Slurs

Nothing new ... just the liberal media again selectively reporting and telling everyone what to believe. The difference between this and the three democrats is this guy didn't pose in any of the pictures or suggest the actions - he simply arranged the book, so it's just a matter of a favorite Dim issue ... "free speech". Apparently another of those things Dims were for before they were against ... selectively ... based on whose speech.

I figured they would be digging around in old yearbooks trying to find equivalence.

To me the only thing worthy of dismissing any of the three (now four) in question would be the Fairfax alleged assault, and at this time alleged is all it is. Even on that one, I have real problems with allegations brought up years after the fact. If it was real, and the accused was likely to harm someone else, then the accuser should have brought it up in a timely manner to prevent other victims.

You sure your grandfather wasn't just a coal miner?

Well since you asked.............

That is the other side of my family.
My great, great grandfather actually owned multiple coal mines and oil wells in PA and WV along with a restaurant on the train line back when that was a big deal. My mother still owns the oil wells along with my aunt. She gets a check at the end of the year from the gas company who is pumping it. My grandfather (since you asked) is the reason there is a coal mine still burning to this day.....at least, that is the rumor and the local lore. He was unhappy with a rival and decided to catch the mine on fire, many many decades ago. The mine is still on fire I was told.

Of course, you really weren't asking but since I am such a nice guy I decided to go all Paul Harvey on you and give you the rest of the story.

Anything else you would like to ask?

Your post had the N-word...uh oh!

They are desperate to try and find anything to shore up the imploding democrat party in Virginia. Guarantee someone will say editing, aka allowing, racist things to stay in a year book is worse than doing the racist things.

That was a good story. He didn't set the Centralia mine on fire did he?
