Guess I’ll have to start listening to lots more American Aquarium. Next stop is Mt Airy, NC. Aka Mayberry, not too far from Raleigh

AA just sucks me in. BJ is certainly an interesting cat, boss lady says he would make a great cult leader. I tend to agree.

finally listening to Aaron Watson's new album. Was afraid American Soul (The single) was a precursor for what most of the songs would sound like. It's not as good as Underdog or Real Good Time, but it's a lot like Vaquero and I'm ok with that. Nothing jumped out at me during the first listen, but I'll definitely listen to it somewhat regularly.

I'd much rather see it live @ Terminal 5 per tradition, but me and boss lady are gonna get some Shiners and watch it Thursday night on replay. Means I'll have to download that stupid Facebook app for a night.

Finally dug back into the book, and it kinda took me aback but it's 100% true that since Ragweed ended RRB has been the constant. People have flirted with mainstream radio etc but Randy has always been around.

And he's Randy. Heck, he sent my gf a "congratulations on your divorce" video (may have paid him $75 for it)

He's the Alan Jackson of TX/OK country. Nothing super wild but consistently amazing.
