Country music thread

Also, maybe I’m weird, but if you’re going to a show that you know before hand there will be kids there, is it not kinda dickish to smoke weed? It usually doesn’t bother me at shows, but it was an all ages show. Just kinda irked me.

I haven't been to a concert in years, but I just assumed smoking weed was pretty munch in the rules these days. Lol.

Lol. It doesn’t bother me at the 18+ and 21+ shows, I don’t partake in it, but it doesn’t bother me. Just felt weird with kids running around.

people at an "outlaw" country artist's concert weren't looking out for kids and living up to societal norms? The old school outlaws are rolling in their graves.

Lol. I take it I’m the ******* in this?
not sure what you starred out, but while I wouldn't smoke weed in general and especially not in front of kids, even if the festival is considered kid friendly, I wouldn't expect a Jinks crowd to be kid friendly. Really I wouldn't consider any non mainstream country festival to ACTUALLY be kid friendly.

Is it legal where the show was? If so I put it in the same category as beer.

It was at the Morgan Wade show. There weren’t that many kids there. It probably shouldn’t have bothered me.

No. I’m not even sure medical is legal in Kentucky.
The law is weird in Tennessee. D8 is completely legal for recreation or whatever. D9 (traditional weed) not legal.
D8 is weaker but it’s still a distinction without a real difference.
I don’t smoke or do eatables so I’m probably not the best guy to ask but I feel it should be legal anywhere alcohol or cigarettes are.

But I digress

The thing that irks me is alcohol cannot give any sort of “contact high”. The last thing the world needs is an eight year old with the munchies lol
