Alan Jackson is credited as writer for that particular song of his.

Hey look, I can finally agree with you in this thread. Except he didn’t write Alan’s song of the same name. Jackson wrote it.

Kenny Cheaney more famously covered Mac’s version. Mac is an incredibly talented musician and song writer. Plays an array of instruments in Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band

So mad that I couldn’t find a way to see one of the shows on the last tour. Had tickets to two different dates and ended up having to cancel both of them.

As a freshman at UT who just so happened to get placed in a room across the hall from a kid from Lubbock Texas Keen was an absolute revelation for me. He was/is my Springsteen. As a 40 year old man I now know that I too love Bruce. As an 18 year old freshman I thought he sucked bc my dad loved him and anything my dad loved had to suck. I grew up listening to punk music and bc of that I often give credit to Lucero as the catalyst for introducing me to most of the music I love today but Keen is probably equally, if not more, responsible

Cody is teary eyed up there. Hes just a great caring dude. He just thanked Taylor Swift for setting a precedent of taking music back from the labels regarding Sould Gravy 2022. Said he'd give her a hug if woulsnt get beat up by her security
