You might not have gotten When We Were Younger Men, but if RC singing “All Your Favorite Bands” didn’t leave you weak in the knees then I don’t think I can believe anything you’ve ever typed in this thread

I ended up hanging with 2 girls who are also huge Dawes fans, all of is may have got wet eyes during that one. My throat hurts from singing, think we yelled every word of every song. Turnpike Forever.

so, umm, guess there was some drama leading up to you getting there, but glad you enjoyed it.

Turnpike sounded phenomenal. I mean AA did too, but you really noticed the gap watching them back to back. I don't mean that in a bad way, but from a talent standpoint, TT is just on another level. I always praise Brady Black, but Nixy is right there with him.

I sat next to a husband and wife and the wife was quite wasted, but knew her independent/red dirt artists. She told me to look up Dawes during intermission, and I told her I listen to some, but I could tell she didn't know about RC and the boys special live treat. When Evan walked off stage, I said, "Are you ready for this?" and she was lost. When she figured it out, she lost it.

Was an awesome time, you're spot on with the cleanliness of TT vs AA.

No dramatics, someone other than me forgot to book the dog at the kennel.

If I end up moving ever again it's going to be within 90 minutes of a Friday or Saturday night booking town. These Tuesdays Wednesday-Thursdays don't work well with my age. Todd Snider will be in Knox on a Wednesday and Ward in Bristol the day after. I'll make Ward anyway.

Picked up one for Slaid Cleaves Sunday in Asheville. Isis Music Hall.has been on my list of places to check out so why not, 730 show means I'll be in bed by midnight

Not sure what’s up with all of these women singers covering Miley Cyrus, but when it’s Kaitlin Butts and Morgan Wade I can live with it.
