When I saw her at the Burl in Lexington, she talked about how the last time she was there (about a year ago I think she said) she had to sell her own merch out the back of her own car. Pretty much a year later and she’s on her own headlining tour. Pretty cool story, and I hope she writes a book or something one day. I'm sure she has a bunch of crazy stories.

Anyone snagged the new Tyler Childers album? I pre-ordered it's 3 disc, each disc is a different version of the tracks. But it's just 8 tracks, 2 are instrumental and 1 is a re-release of Purgatory.

I'm a little disappointed, I mean it's Tyler so I dig the songs. But paying double album prices to get 5 tracks basically? Don't dig that.

“Doors” just bowls me over… y’all know that sad songs make me happy

Social skills is an all out banger that’s an anthem, yet incredibly sad at the same time. It’s fantastic.

The Liar was the best album released last week, and, sorry Tyler, it’s not close.

I can’t begin to put Loretta’s importance to this genre into words. Female country was molded, shaped, and developed by her style. Her legacy will forever live. The emotion in every lyric will never be forgotten.

Really enjoying the new Zac Brown album. “Stubborn Pride” with Marcus King and Jamey Johnson is absolutely perfect.

Old lady's favorite song besides Casualties. When we met she was despondent because she thought she'd never get to see Turnpike. She asked if I'd cry when Evan started, I said probably. Its OK for grown men to cry while they sing "Goooooo on back to Cherokee County". @Freak may be able to find a way for us all to trade numbers without posting?

So I packed up, cashed my chips, and pointed that car east. No idea where I was going, anywhere but here'd worked for me. Somehow I still think I made him proud just by getting out…

@Toujours Pret , @NochNoch , anyone else get to see Turnpike with us in two weeks? @Dallasbowlin , @WestTennesseeVol ?

I wish lol still haven’t gotten to see them. Definitely something I want to do if not this year, next.
