Country music thread

So many new things out that I'm trying to get into them all lately. Slaid Cleaves new one is great, Drayton Farley will definitely be revisited again but I did enjoy it. Panhandlers new one didn't really jump out at me as a whole

I felt disappointed in the Panhandlers new one too, but I haven’t slowed down since RTTR at work and think it’s just not a good time for me to be absorbing new music properly

In all honesty you should pitch a song idea about hanging with us for a weekend!
It’s honestly the story of my life though. Y’all are the type of people I hang out. Always have. I have one close friend that doesn’t drink or drugs. He’s definitely got some different features though. I’m boring, so I have to hang out with people like y’all to have fun! I just do it without the alcohol!

Gonna go check out Willi Carlisle tonight, waiting to get tickets until now since I wanted to monitor the weather before committing

@volfanbill just got an email (and immediately copped tickets) that AA is going to a part of an outdoor concert series that runs during the summer time in downtown Norfolk. Never not had to travel to at least Richmond for one of their shows but now I can finally just jump in an Uber.

I'm very happy that CMT does show Country Music Videos in the era when MTV stopped having anything to do with music content including showing music videos.

Where at in Norfolk?

1 unforgettable country romantic song that I enjoy listening to that has a great message is Nobody by Dylan Scott.

Jon Wolfe in Knox, I'd like to see him again.... naturally the same night as Flatland in Asheville, so don't want to see him bad enough to change plans

I'm hoping for a half-assed cryptic non-answer from BJ about the special guests for Band Together. I would doubt 2 years in a row though

49 Winchester is opening the lime kiln season, awesome venue but not sure it's worth going up for an overnight when I'll already have seen them 4x this year before then.

Check out The White Buffalo's latest album. The sound I feel like Nashville should have headed instead of...
