Evidently Slims has "closed for renovation" after all the staff walked out.

Hate to hear it, but it was a matter of time; no room for a bar for real people in downtown Raleigh anymore.

Been googling and whatnot. Seems like a lot of going on behind the scenes and lots of chatter about the owner being a POS to the workers. Not sure what the real story here is
