Hart didn't give 2 $hits what those people thought about Dooley either. Those same guys wanted Gruden, he's not here. I can promise Butch wasn't those guys first or second choice.

Dooley was gonna return had he beaten Vandy, that's hardly the same page that those guys you're talking about were on.

I've heard people say that but I really don't believe it. I think Hart wanted to feel in charge and let everyone know he was running the show so maybe he wanted to flex his muscles a little.

Derek Dooley era ended the second that clock ticked down to zero in that miss state game and he lost his chance at a quality win. The loss the bama sealed it and the loss to Missouri left no doubt.

I would expect Hart to say that. And it would be hard to fire Martin if he wins 18-20 games even if he misses the tourney again.

Out of curiosity, which media? I hadn't heard about Hart's comments.

247 and VQ along with the times free press have all said he's not on the hot seat and will likely be here next year barring some epic collapse.

I thought the berry bros were not going to count against the number and it wouldn't be greyshirting. That was well before we started getting close to the current # of commits. I had a conversation with someone who said they thought it was a possibility that part of donation of Eric's to UT would go to help cover his direct relatives. That person happens to have the first tailgate spot by the torchbearer, so I shared the info because they usually know what's up.
Next thing you know, we are signing more, blue shirting comes up and no-one had discussed it, and some legacy rule is discussed. I think they had some decent info but were misinformed or assumed the EB situation. They did know we were going to keep getting committments and evidently had ways to do it before it was brought up on here that we would take 35.

I just wanted to clarify for those that see another smartass comment that deserves to know the accurate story behind it.
Bto, you can get all the credentials on the internet that you want so you can follow teens on twitter to ask them questions, but you don't have conversations with people that know much of anything so don't act like you do.

It's not about Pearl coming back, it's about getting a coach that can recruit. motivate, prepare his team. That will stand up for your player when there's a BS call by a ref. Just once, I would like too see CM show a little emotion.
