*happy for Cofer, kid has wanted to be a Vol, but wanted to go through the process a bit as well. The best part may be that Lousivile and Memphis both reached out to him within the last couple days, but he didn't want none...already a VFL.

*Shoutout to Jordan Cornish. I think ultimately Cofer would've ended up a Vol, but there's no doubt in my kind it happened so soon as a result of Cornish. Original plan was for Phil to wait until he came up for camp with Jordan, however he was sick of waiting.

*Continuing on that, great players wanna play with great players. This is by far the best start to a class that Zo has had, and luckily for him both guys are very vocal and active. You can bet Phil and Jordan are gonna put the full court press on guys like Devin Micthell (who's friends with Phil and AJ).

*I said this class would be top 20, and it's well on its way. You have 2 players who are composite 150 players, and a guy in Cofer who looks to be on his way to composite top 100. We are in on some very good players, and I feel more confident than ever this will be a top 20 class.

*I said the other day, the key to 14-15 is having a solid 2014 class. There's a solid base without the 14 class, but a very good 2014 class makes back to back trips to the dance very likely.

*and finally kudos to Zo. His biggest question to most has been recruiting, he's doing a great job on this class and its nowhere close to done.

Good stuff. So what else will we add?

Another PG or C or SF?

I think we've got to add a C and PG with the remaining spots. Currently, we have 2 more spots available, but I think Stokes goes, giving us 3 more spots (5 total) in this this class. Usually, there is attrition somewhere. So it's possible we could take as many as 6. Personally, I think we sign 5.

SG - Cornish
PF - Cofer

C - Hurt?
PG - Lyle? Mitchell? Richmond?

I think if you use that final spot on the best player you can get. Looney? Lindsey? etc...

We definitely need to get a C and a PG.

For PG I would love for us to get Jaquel Richmond and I'm not sure for C just yet. I guess that JUCO C (Hurt I think is his name) would be my choice as of now.

I also want Devin Mitchell really really bad as a SG.

Right now we can sign 4 players in this class but it'll most likely extend to 5 because Stokes will probably leave no matter what after this year.

Yeah, I would like to get Mitchell as well. He has one of the purest strokes I've seen, well since my own.

Were still floundering at point guard really need to get a player at that position. Regardless AJ Davis and Mike Cofer give us some solid athletes inside for 2014 and we will still have Nidaye as a backup. I like Thompson at two guard better than point. Hopefully Hubbs has a great season but still comes back for his sophomore year. Richardson will be our solid senior so we will at least have a solid team. If we were to get Lyle, Hurt, and Lindsey to fill out this class wow.

Dont remember betting but I dont think we will be top 20

I think it was a friendly bet, no money placed.

You DON'T think we finish top 20? So you're guessing we miss on every ranked prospect we're recruiting the rest of the way?

No we may make it but I feel you have to get more guys in the top 100 than the 100-150 but Im very happy Cofer is coming to Tennessee.......We might make it but I honestly think it will end up being borderline top twenty but I hope I am wrong.

Looking at past years classes/rankings, if we get one more top 150 recruit we are a lock for a top 20 class it would appear.

I think a great end to this class would be stealing the SF London, PG Mitchell, and the JUCO C Hurt. What you think, BTO? I don't see us getting Lyle either.

I would LOVE that class

Personally, I'd like to see a "big fish" in there. Not saying I wouldn't be happy, just hoping to land a 5* or high 4* player.

I know Mitchell and Cofer are both pretty highly rated by some but I'd love to add a consensus top 25 or so player.

I agree with this. Hurt probably is our best option at center at this time, but I sure would like to get in a high school center at some point. And yes, get in a good high school PG who is not a COMBO GUARD.

Right now just being as optimistic as I can would like to see a class of Cofer, Cornish, Mitchell, Lindsey, and Hurt as all these guys are high possibles. That class would give us great depth at every position for 2014. Hurt, Nidaye at center, AJ and Mike at PF, Richardson, Moore,Lindsey at the three, Hubbs, Cornish at the two, Mitchell, Thompson at the point and backups Chevious, Reese additional depth.

I'm hoping (realistically) for 1 of the 3 L's. Jaquan seems destined for UL or IU, but seems like he's gonna take his OVs so you never know. Looney was quiet for awhile, but recent reports almost seem to favor Vols and definitely sounds like they're in his top 3 and will get a visit. Lindsey has gone quiet, but he's no secret. He wants an offer from UNC or UK, my guess is its not going to happen. If it doesn't, Providence & Tennessee may be the 2 fighting for him and I have to like our chances there.

I get what you mean by big fish, and believe me I'm all for any of those guys. Mitchell is a very high 4* though according to most recent updates, and is actually ranked similarly to Jalen Lindsey.

I wanted Cofer.

Get Stephen Hurt. He's going to replace Jarnell.

Also, I'm going to surprise people. I think we get Jalen Lindsey. If I'm CCM, I'm making the full court press on him right now because his stock is dropping a little. He reminds me of McRae.

I'd love a Mitchell/Lindsey/Demery/Cornish/Cofer/Hurt class, then drop one from the roster currently after next season. Maybe Reese.
