Court Orders Dissolution of Trump Org

If I remember correctly the defrauded banks/insurers didn't make any allegations - it was the AG. Not sure if it matters legally but it does raise some questions if the "victims" didn't consider themselves victims.

Not an answer to overturning.

The immediate dissolving of business interests seems it may face some challenges
That is the most intriguing thing. Banks and insurance companies should have some obligation to assess the risk. When you buy a home the bank always sends an appraiser out.

Now that she has a taste of success, when will she go after all those "fraudulent" organizations that are ripping off the little guy?

When it comes to fraud, the gangster is certainly top of the heap. The man has been blatantly and egregiously lying about his real-estate holdings--along with EVERYTHING else--for a very long time. He is pathologically dishonest and corrupt.

Don't know if the victim of bank fraud or whatever it is has to complain for the state to pursue the case or not. I don't know enough about it to opine, but I'm curious as to whether the people opining have any basis for their legal opinions.

Seems like he is worried the old way of the uniparty "picking" their candidates, isnt working any longer.

Given that your preferred choice is a conman that's had charity(s), schools and all of his businesses closed down for fraud - maybe you ought to listen to the uniparty.

I'll bet part of it was not wanting to admit that they were lax with their due diligence, something that that shareholders ought to be questioning... Had Trump defaulted and his assets not been nearly enough to cover the nut, they'd all have been left holding the bag. Donny certainly wouldn't have enjoyed the sweet intrest rates he undoubtedly was offered due to the UNBELIEVABLY "secured" debt. Again, a cost that the shareholders didn't have an opportunity to enjoy.

So to suggest it was victimless isn't entirely accurate.

Judicially determined to be a rapist and fraudster. Once we have the judicial determination of micro penis, we'll have the trifecta.

If Trump is so terrible, stands no chance of being reelected etc., why are they trying so hard? This was a civil ruling, and they're even fining his lawyers, with no word from Trump himself. Some of you giddy over this need to realize this doesn't end with Trump. Sorry if you can't see the bigger picture here ( you probably do and are ok with it).

But hey, Trump evil and stupid, so this is good.

And that has zero to do with the judges ruling

The ruling is a joke. No one other than Trump would be charged with this, because 100% of people do this. You assign your assets the highest price you think you can reasonably get away with when applying for a loan. If you think your home is worth 250-300k, you call it 300k.

No one is impressed here

Do you have any legal basis for your assumption that it will be overturned? I don't have any basis to think it would be upheld or overturned. I'm just curious what you base your opinion on.
I do believe Trump wasn't even there when the judgement was made in this civil case..meaning he was unable to to defend himself....and I believe the judge should have recused himself due to comment he made regarding Trump. Also the judge overreached hard on a lot of these judgements.

Ok, Matlock, I'm going to ask you specific questions. Let me know what you think about each. Feel free to tell me the basis for your legal or factual opinion. 1) what decisions did the judge overreach on and how is his decision inconsistent with the law as applied to the facts? 2) was Trump barred from the court or did he choose not to show? 3) what comment did the judge make and was it outside of the court or part of the case?

1. Over reached on the fraud in general. Not one loan for appraisal defaulted which is key for fraud, if both parties agree and none was harmed there is no fraid..2. Not sure. K owing trump he promobaly didnt show cuz he is an ass. 3. We can throw out cuz I don't wanna dig through tweets etx... but the judge is being sued by trump, will that affect an impartial judgement...we shall see
