Anyone heard anything recently on him. I know he has us on his list of favorites but I haven't heard any news as of late. It could be tough pulling him out of Big Ten country, although he's only considering Ill., Minn, and Ohio St.

My guess is Illinois or Ohio State. Only because Ohio State is usually the best in the Big 10 and Illinois is his home state.

Who has he gotten for us this year? That wasn't a smart remark because I thought he has gotten some people but who? Adkins is one of the best

I would love to get Drummond. He has the frame to pack on a few lbs and be a 305 pound monster at DT.

He would be a great start for our D-line class of 09 wherever he wants to play. Let's get him on Rocky Top!

According to Lemming, next fall’s senior class in the Chicago area continues to be headed by defensive end Craig Drummond of Morgan Park, offensive lineman Chris Watt of Glenbard West, quarterbacks Jon Budmayr of Marian Central and Northwestern-bound Evan Watkins of Glenbard North and offensive lineman Pat Ward of Providence. "Drummond is clearly the leading prospect. He is like Richard Dent in high school," Lemming said. "But he has been downgraded a bit by some analysts and college coaches because they aren’t sure if he will qualify academically. I don’t get that. What has he done to warrant being dropped? He hasn’t played a game since November.
"He is still the best player I have seen. Defensive ends are more difficult to discover than offensive linemen. Watt is one of the best offensive linemen in the country and he gets more attention because he is a good student. But Drummond has great speed and burst and explosive moves that give him an edge."

With some academic pressure taken off his shoulders, Drummond found some time to think things over regarding his future college home. "Illinois, Tennessee, LSU, and Wisconsin are my top four right now. I'm pretty sure I want to visit those four officially for sure, but I'm still thinking over where I want to go for my fifth visit."

Wow...I didn't know we were in his top four. I guess i just hadn't heard anything on him in a while. That's better than I thought we stood with him.

there are people that are saying he is a lock to us. I dont know about that, but I feel alot better about him than I did. Im not sure that LSU has a spot for him, Illinois is a concern, the Zooker is tough to beat.

I like our odds if we're in his top 4 and that is our competition! Drummond is a great DE, we need him!

I think he may be our one big suprise committment for this year's class, or maybe Winston.

Drummond would be an absolute steal if our good guys get him. He's underrated, IMO. I had a good feeling about him in May at my blog's recruiting board (Rex can verify), because Drummond is friends with current Tennessee OT Ramone Johnson.

Still think he goes to Illinois, but we have time.

I was wondering the same thing, I asked a while ago but I wasn't sure if it was still up and running. If so, I'd like to take a look at it as well.
