...But this is the second straight year that Oregon State has knocked off a national title contender by a field goal. If you'll remember last year, they vanquished USC 33-31 at the end of the season. This year they took out Cal by 3.

Waaay to go, Beavers!! :salute:

(And I know I'm not supposed be chearing against teams that beat UT, but really, how can you root against a Beaver? (or a team who beats USC??? :dance2: ))

This football season is playing out like a US Open in golf. The team that keeps it out of the deep rough will win the title. I assumed losing to Colorado would be the end for OU. Now, all they have to do is win in and I'm certain they'll be one of the teams playing for the crystal football in New Orleans.

Colorado is gonna be leading the Big 12 North (as they used to) within the next two years.

You especially have to love the way this is going to torture the BCS. OH State has exactly 0 non-cupcakes on their schedule (MI is their toughest opponent) but they are exactly what the BCS rewards so they'll be in. But who is likely to get into the 2-4 slots?... Wouldn't you love to see South Florida in the game- especially if they won... and I think right now they could take Ohio State.

If this year keeps up, we might even get Kramer to admit what a truly incredible ass he is.

This is the prime disaster for the BCS

This is truly how I think it should be based on resume.
1.USF-beat a good WVU team and Auburn on the road
2.OSU-Have beaten tough Akron, Youngstown, Kent State, Northwestern teams. They'll lose to Michigan for sure
3.BC-They're in the ACC and undefeated, I think they could potentially slip up to the Canes to end the year.
4.LSU-Still the most talented team and still have the toughest schedule which will keep their SOS high
5.Oklahoma-Great running game and an incredible Freshman QB in Sam Bradford

Also don't sleep on Oregon, they've been flying under the radar for alot this season and Dixon has been great and ASU. They should drop a couple but Erickson has been great. USC has lost 16 starters so they're done. Also, I can't wait to watch this Hawaii team get steamrolled to Pat Hill's Fresno squad, Boise State, and Washington. This is the biggest fraud of a team ever. Brennan has thrown 9 picks in the last 2 games.

all i know is we have to face woodson. what a nightmare that's going to be.

this seems as good a place as any to ask, so i'll ask. Living in JC, i've been told from numerous sources that Graham Spurrier has admitted if Tennessee wanted his brother, all they have to do is ask. Anyone else heard this?

WOW....could this be true?? As much as I've hated "the weasle" over the yrs. I think I'd swallow my pride and welcome him with open arms....after all...he's a TN boy.
But, I think there are too many in the VolNation that would never let this happen!
