“Make no mistake, violent crime was up under Donald Trump,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz warned in his first speech as Kamala Harris’ running mate.

“If you look this up at home,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg claimed last month, “you will know that crime went down under Biden and crime went up under Trump. Why would America want to go back to the higher crime we experienced under Donald Trump?”

But the opposite is true: Between 2016 and 2020, violent crime fell by 17% under Trump — and soared by 43% under Biden between 2020 and 2022.

Of course, news outlets routinely assert that Americans are mistaken in believing that violent crime is rising.

A California Innocence Project lawyer is accused of offering a convicted murderer millions of dollars in exchange for testimony that freed another convicted killer.

Paige Kaneb, the legal director of the Northern California Innocence Project, allegedly conspired with civil attorney Terry Gross to convince Marritte Funches to testify and incriminate himself as they worked to overturn the murder conviction of Maurice Caldwell.

The alleged deal was then discussed in taped conversations between Caldwell and Funches in 2023, as Funches had sexual relations with Kaneb.

Distressing doorbell footage shows the moment neighbors rushed to help a Seattle dog walker after she was dragged to her death by a convict during a carjacking.

Ruth Dalton, 80, was viciously attacked by Jahmed Haynes, 48, near Martin Luther King Jr. Way East and Harrison Street in the Madison Valley neighborhood just before 10am on Tuesday.

At the time of the violent attack, Dalton - who started her dog walking business 'Grandma's Critter Care' 35 years ago - had several dogs inside her vehicle that she had just walked at a park.


It was there that Haynes, who has eight prior felonies and a history of mental health issues, pushed the elderly woman into the passenger seat, out of the car, and ran her over before driving away in her vehicle.

On Wednesday, SWAT arrested Haynes at his home and found a bloody knife and keys to Dalton's car, the police said. Just five miles away, cops found the lifeless body of her dog Prince and her vehicle.

Not content with murdering Dalton, Haynes had then tortured her beloved dog to death, police say.

Christian Whistleblower Nurse is FIRED by Children's Hospital after exposing 'federal funding of gender-affirming care'​


The Christian nurse who blew the whistle on Texas Children's Hospital allegedly using federal funding for gender-affirming care has been fired.

Vanessa Sivadge, 31, announced on social media that the hospital unlawfully fired her on August 16 - months after putting her on leave.

The hospital at the time cited 'things [she] shared publicly' as its justification for putting Sivadge on leave after journalist Christopher Rufo published her allegations that the hospital charged Medicaid to cover minors' cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers against state law.

Wrestler charged with Murdering Wisconsin college gymnast Kara Welsh​


A college wrestling star has been identified as the man accused of murdering student gymnast Kara Welsh.

Chad T. Richards, 23, fatally shot Welsh, 21, following a dispute on August 30, police said.

Friends told local media that the two had been dating and that Richards was helping Welsh move in to her dorm.

University of Wisconsin Whitewater student Welsh was found with multiple gunshot wounds at her off-campus apartment just before midnight on Friday.

Elijah Vue’s Remains Found by hunters nearly 7 months after Wisconsin Tot vanished: cops​

A skull and other human remains have been identified as missing Wisconsin toddler Elijah Vue, police announced Friday.

Missouri death row inmate Marcellus Williams was executed Tuesday night following a lengthy court battle, during which even prosecutors expressed doubts about his case.

The 55-year-old was injected with a fatal dose of pentobarbital at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre just after 6pm, and was pronounced dead by 6.10, Fox 2 reports.

Williams had earlier received a final meal of chicken wings and tater tots, and released an eight-word final statement: 'All Praise Be To Allah In Every Situation!!!'

He had been on death row since he was convicted in 2001 of murdering Felicia 'Lisha' Gayle, a newspaper reporter who was found stabbed to death in her home in 1998.

Prosecutors at Williams' original trial in 2001 argued that Williams broke into Gayle's home on August 11, 1998, heard water running in the shower and grabbed a butcher knife.

When she came downstairs, they claimed Williams stabbed Gayle 43 times, left the knife in her throat and made off with her purse and her husband's laptop.
