For historical context, I was mugged at knifepoint (a very large knife) on the same block in SF in the early 80s.

During the few years I lived in San Francisco, I was robbed at gunpoint three times (twice as a bank teller), my apartment robbed once, my car broken into three times, and a gun pointed at my head while the trigger was pulled (no round in the chamber).

It was a dangerous place.

A crazed homeless woman who was living in a Vermont shelter pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday after she was accused of beating to death a coordinator with an ax and a knife.

Zaaina Mahvish-Jammeh, 38, remained silent during her court appearance in Brattleboro as her public defender lawyer entered the plea. The brutal slaying occurred Monday around 9:30am at a facility known as the Morningside House which is run by a group named Groundworks in the city.

The identity of the Louisville KY, killer seems to be silent. I'm guessing his race isn't someone that they want known? A white person is usually always instantly identified.

I’m seeing young 23 year old white guy who went postal.. ? I remember that as a kid in the 70s.. the post office people ‘going postal’ and shooting everyone..might have been the 80s and 90s too?
