The South Dakota Department of Education (SDOE) found instances of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in the departments’ guidance, training and academic standards, according to the Aug. 15 report.

The report was released in accordance with South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem’s April 5 executive order which outlawed the teaching of CRT, which “compels students to view the world through a purely racial lens,” in colleges and K-12 institutions. The SDOE found their state academic standards asked about “power and privilege” and promoted “civic engagement activity.” (RELATED: Michigan Department Of Education Trains Teachers To Hide Students’ Names, Pronouns From Parents)

'Shocking' video exposes school officials plotting to 'trick' Ohio parents, teach CRT

Ohio school employees reveal how they can covertly push critical race theory even if the state bans it

Critics are outraged after shocking video surfaced of Ohio school officials discussing how they can push critical race theory covertly, working around school policies already in place.

Protect Ohio Children Coalition co-chair Cathy Pultz, who is a former teacher herself, joined "Fox & Friends First" Thursday to discuss the bombshell video and the broader impact of the curriculum on the community.

"It should be a parent and school partnership, and it's really not," Pultz told co-host Todd Piro. "In our district in Upper Arlington, the transparency has been a problem for years. They have their agenda. They get caught doing something. They get caught reading books without telling the parents. And they turn around and say, we're going to do an investigation, but then nothing happens."

The video, showing Ohio school officials discussing how they can secretly advocate the controversial content even if the state banned it, was released by a conservative media watchdog, Accuracy in Media.

'Building an Antiracist America': Top Pennsylvania School District Pushes Teachers To Infuse Critical Race Theory Into Their Lessons

A top Pennsylvania school district is pushing its teachers to infuse critical race theory into classrooms through "racial equity learning resources" that argue America is systemically racist and condemn merit-based policies as "rooted in whiteness."

Pittsburgh Public Schools, the state's second-largest district, hosts on its website an array of "racial equity learning resources" that train educators on topics such as "whiteness" and how to be "culturally responsive as a white teacher." One resource includes curriculum materials developed from critical race theorist Ibram X. Kendi's Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You, which argues that "racist ideas have been stamped" into the nation's "Constitution, laws, policies, practices, and beliefs of segregationists and assimilationists." Lessons inspired by the book ask students to explain how America's government is "emblematic" of the statement, "Racism is the bedrock of the USA." They also state that "meritocracy and the American dream narrative are rooted in whiteness."

A school district in California’s Bay Area is launching an initiative to train over a hundred students to become Critical Race Theory activists in a plan that could last three years and cost more than $100,000.

Martinez Unified School District (MUSD), located just inland from Berkeley, California, is preparing to train students to become leftwing activists with the help of Lori Watson, the CEO of Oakland-based racial equity consulting firm Race Work, which aims to “interrupt systemic racism” and calls on allies to become “co-conspirators.”

While many equity consultants aim their trainings at teachers and administration with the understanding that it will trickle down to the classroom, Watson targets her agenda at children. Her Student Leaders’ Anti-Racist Movement (SLAM) seeks to “empower and mobilize” students “as catalysts for change through an anti-racist leadership youth movement.”
