Crompton looks like A.J. Suggs

Did you watch the game?

Crompton did not beat us. I can remember atleast 8 dropped passes...likely more.

McFadden and offensive line of the Hogs is what beat us.

Granted, the wrs should catch it when it is near them, but most of the drops were due to really bad passes. Even on some catchs, the possibility of getting yards after the catch were non existant because the ball was so poorly thrown that the defenders were able to adjust and make the tackle as the wr was adjusting to catch the ball. Don't make excuses for Crompton, this game is a shootout if Ainge plays.

Crompton didn't lose that game for us:

1. Offensive line got dominated, they were in his face all night.

2. Dropped passes

3. No running game at all.

4. Senior leadership needs to step up.

5. Can't stop the run

6. Wrap up when you tackle someone.

7. Where was the emotion? We looked flat all night.

8. Defensive line just got whipped from pillar to post.

Seems to me there are plenty of reasons we didn't win, but to blame a freshmen qb, who remember didn't play last year due to injury and a kid who hasn't played for two years since his senior year in H.S is crazy.

Exactly, my goddness not to many Qb could have success against the LSU def he had and come on nobody thought Ark was as good as they are. We all have to admit Ark is real. They beat us in all angles of the game. Crompton will be a great one some day. He just needs more experience.

f1ip- I don't think he is the reason we lost. I agree that AR would have beat us on our best day. I just think Crompton looks like AJ out there.....lost and confussed. If I was a big time recruit at WR or OL and my choices of players to play with are Stafford, Tebow, Mustain, Periloux (sp) or Crompton.......I would put Crompton at the bottom of that list.

That's a joke. Stafford has played alot this year and still looks second rate to Cromps limited action. Mustain got replaced by the original sarter when their schedule toughened up in the SEC race. Shows the confidence Nutt has in him. Tebow is one dimensional, and Periloux has never seen the field except to run on when the game starts, and off when it is over. The pecking order may change over time. That is a strong group of young SEC QB's. But, Crompton, at this point, is above the others.
