Yeah, I can't believe that after he threw the go ahead TD pass with 7:29 left in the game that he didn't go in as a DB and help stop LSU from scoring with 9 seconds left. What a wimp!!!We lost the game with Crompton playing the majority of the game. Quite honestly, I'm not sure what the effect would have been had Crompton started that game, and you don't know either. With that being his first bigtime game, he could have very easily become rattled when his wide receivers dropped the first three passes that hit them squarely in the hands.
