Good night Mufasa.....

I had forgotten that Waylon had originally done Where Corn Don't Grow. Joe Diffie was always a great singer, but its crazy how underrated Steve Wariner is as a writer, singer, and a picker.
Couldn't agree more with everything, especially Steve Wariner.

Switching gears, has anyone had a package delivered by the USPS on a Sunday?

I just got an alert from FedEx that my package I've been waiting on so long has been delivered to the Ft. Myers USPS hub. Then an alert from the USPS that my package is out for delivery and would be here by 8:00 pm. On Sunday October 11.

Yes
Quite a few times actually, beginning fairly recently (in say the past year)...the guy across the street always works on old cars and we'd see the white USPS truck go up his driveway on Sundays...I asked him about it

It was a new one on me, too

When it says what yours says about USPS delivering on Sundays, it's one of the white USPS trucks here. That's the only time I ever see one of those white USPS trucks out in this area is on Sundays. All the other mail carriers are in their own vehicles. White trucks come on Sundays. HAHA

In more rural areas, the usps also delivers for Amazon on Sundays. They used to deliver for FedEx on Sundays, but I think that contract soured.

Well y’all touched on it a bit while I was typing. It’s a deal between Amazon and USPS. nothing to do with how it’s ordered per se.

I was going to post that I think they've done it for FedEx here. A lot of times, Samsclub uses FedEx, but sometimes it's UPS.
I think they still do.

My uncle makes bank in OT by delivering on Sundays for Amazon. I honestly sometimes wonder if he isn’t in the spot where he gets so much OT that taxes would make it not worth it, but I’m not privy to his paychecks 😂
