That was from Sam's, and the white USPS truck brought it.
My guess is you live outside city limits? IE, in the county? That would explain white trucks vs civilian vehicles. I have cousins and an aunt who also work for USPS. Well, the aunt has retired, but you get it. I’ve learnt a lot about usps operations from them.

No. We're in the city limits. But we are in one of the most recently annexed areas (8-9 yrs ago). We are near I-81 out in Rock Springs past where they built that new school (out toward Double Springs). I remember you're from Boones Creek. I'd say you know exactly where that is.

We’re in the city limits, in an in-town neighborhood (as opposed to some recently annexed semi-rural area), and we get deliveries by USPS trucks frequently. Probably mostly Amazon and FedEx; can’t remember if store shipments as well.

That's why I've called Mikey out when he complains about the USPS. I've had nothing but good to great service by them.
We’re in one of those neighborhoods where USPS walks the route, with our mailboxes up on our porches. Our usual guy is great about keeping an eye on mail piling up (lots of elderly people) and tucks any packages out of sight from the street, unlike the UPS flinger. Young veteran, upper 20’s, shorts in all weather, bright green hair. Wouldn’t trade him for the world.

I know that area very well. My guess is they just still haven’t been provided enough of the white trucks to service out there. I know Colonial Heights has white trucks (feel free to ask how). What city is listed as your address, I’m guessing it is a Kingsport address? I know for instance the Gray post office (zip code 37615) is weird af. Bobby Hicks Hwy and at least portions of 36 have been annexed by Johnson City and are still serviced by the Gray post office, but are addressed as Johnson City. Parts of Gray still use Gray. Both are 37615 zip codes, and there’s not many white trucks at that post office.

Does the tri cities have Amazon delivery trucks at all? When I’m home, I’ve never seen one, but that’s only a couple weeks a year and I’m not looking.

You are spot on about CH. I was going to say I see the white trucks if I go out RS Rd and turn right on Moreland. HA
Yes, we're Kingsport.
Gray is wacked on the addresses. Yes.
Mom and dad are in Fordtown. I noticed Kingsport city dumpsters up near Greif Bros barrel factory the other day, but they live closer to 36 on that road.

I have not seen one.
Edit: That (used to be Coastal market) on 36 before you get to Liberty Church Rd going toward JC has those Amazon lockers.

Oh well. It's not here yet so we'll see. Like I said, I've never heard of this before.
I dont order off Amazon but the USPS does deliver for them on Sunday -- Oh and the USPS is closed Oct 12 -- holiday for that guy most cities took down the statue of, imagine that
