Goodness, I think I've hit the jackpot on my smoked ribs. Don't mean to toot my horn, but goodness they're awesome. Everything is good, but these ribs are the best I've had, 3 times in a row now.
didn't know you had a horn

glad the ribs are great...I say the same thing every time my wife makes them = "best ever" hahaha

Ever since Whitts limited ribs sales to Fridays and doubled the slab price, I’ve been thinking about trying to learn. Do you boil first or just go raw meat on the smoker?

Raw to the smoker for me. They literally fall apart. My wife was getting mad trying to get some because they kept falling apart 🤣

@Behr (I’m assuming there’s still a tiny vein of culinary running through here)

What other herbs (and spices) complement fresh tarragon? I like it, but I haven’t used it enough to develop an instinctive “nope” yet. I wind up tossing too much of it, because I haven’t used it up in time.

For instance, I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t use it with basil, but what about with thyme? Seems like that would work. But when I think about it with rosemary, seems like they’d be shouting at each other, or something.
