Have you ever tried to wear the old watch and new at the same time to compare the counts, etc.? Seems like it'd be tricky unless you wore one on each wrist.

No, not anymore. I have a good idea what they should be especially when I use the run/walk/training functions. And, I don't really keep up with steps like I used to. Main reason I recorded them is to keep the watch honest. I have 99.9% confidence in this watch.

I might go ahead and push that order button myself. I’m sticking with black bands though. I think I could get away with the gray band here, but I don’t want the gray face. Plus, this way I don’t have to worry about anyone saying anything

Pretty sure both are the same face and case, just different band colors. I have a black, blue and orange band, the yellow looks cool.

Did you get your new one?

Yes, I finally went with an Apple Watch 8, just because I get crazed when gadgets don't integrate well with one another (I have an iphone.) I also found that in fact, I really do need to know immediately when some calls or texts come through and I'm away from my phone.

Overall, I like it better than the Fitbit, but there are still some things that have me stumped. Bad week last week, but I'm caught up with life and planning to dig into stuff.

Not really. When I was in POTS, the buses had VCRs so we'd watch movies.

Yes. I have the gray it came with and I bought a blue, black and orange nylon with velcro. They're awesome. Now I'll have a yeller'un.

The gray/silver band comes with a gray/silver face. I could get away with that here as a recruiter, but when I go back to the real Army, I’m going to have to be in regulations, which means a black band. And I wouldn’t want silver face with a black band

Yeah, I got the parts about WHY. I was confused at which ones you were calling gray and what you were calling the FACE.
