I'm happy with my watch, but I'm amazed how delirious with joy I am over the where's-my-phone watch pinging function. One day I may not ever be checking my heart rate, sleep score, cardio fitness, mail, phone, texts, calendar, battery level, or anything else on the watch, but by gum, I'll be able to tweedle my phone.

How do people who live alone find their cellphone without a phone to call it?? Yes, I know, there are apps, BUT STILL!)

I love not having to pull my phone out or grab it every time I get a notification. Biggest thing I liked about these watches in the beginning and still today is the vibrating alarms.

Got the pups a new stuffed toy monkey with tied rope ends...less than an hour later the nose was torn off, fluff ripped out, and he had managed to get one end around his head by himself. It looked like the toy was taking a ride on his neck.

Ha! Perhaps not. I thought it might be just a face (software-created optional look), not an entire watch. lol

ETA - I hope they get some good sales on this. Thumbs up for amazing design that’s well-executed! I’m just not in their target market $$$. Sort of like we’ve coughed up for one piece of Stickley furniture (a rocker), but I just can’t blow $20k or something on a set of living room furniture.

I don't believe I told you guys, but about a month ago we decided to adopt our new pup's brother as well. He had been adopted by a family and returned to the rescue a few days later. We felt so sorry for him and couldn't understand why he wasn't being adopted, so we reunited him with his brother. They're best friends.... inseparable.

I decided I didn't care if I was a PITA or not. I contacted Garmin through Chat as if I had a problem. Inder was very kind.

I told her I had ordered the 965 and I knew it said 5-8 weeks for shipment, but was hoping she could give me a better idea.

She asked for my order number.

I gave it to her.

Her reply...

"Inder:
So, it looks like your order is
to be fulfilled with the next
shipment that is received.
Which we are expecting at
the end of April. This is
subject to change"
