I decided I didn't care if I was a PITA or not. I contacted Garmin through Chat as if I had a problem. Inder was very kind.

I told her I had ordered the 965 and I knew it said 5-8 weeks for shipment, but was hoping she could give me a better idea.

She asked for my order number.

I gave it to her.

Her reply...

"Inder:
So, it looks like your order is
to be fulfilled with the next
shipment that is received.
Which we are expecting at
the end of April. This is
subject to change"
So I called this morning hoping to get better news than this… nope

Guy I spoke to was a nice guy, but said it looks like the next shipment is April 28th

This is a crappy way to do business if you ask me.

Samsung sent me an email late July, I forget the date, but said pre-order for the new 5 pro was August 10th for an August 27th or before delivery. August 9th couldn't pre-order. August 10th did. Was delivered the 17th.

I mean, it is what it is. I understand I'm just being impatient, but I expected better from Garmin.

Also saw a review of the 965 this morning. I was out and didn't bookmark it and can't find it now, but only 2 cons were no wireless charging which isn't important to me but must be alot of other people, and no ECG sensor, which obviously means it won't be capable of an update like it was reported to possibly be last month. (Not by Garmin). So, that's not a deal breaker for me but it is disappointing.

The more I'm understanding things on this 955 the more I can't wait to get the 965.
