It needed pancetta instead of bacon, white cheddar instead of mozzarella, more garlic, crushed red pepper, cracked black pepper and some salt. No, the pancetta and cheese don't add enough.
That said, it's a stupid dish in my opinion. Lol. The nutritional gains from the Brussels are blowed up and dominated by errthang else.
Replace the Brussels with big skrimp, scallops, crab, lobster, squid or top it with blackend salmon or.....ladel a little on top of a grilled chicken breast. Then make a side of roasted Brussels like Bill makes.
Sometimes I just post stuff that looks good, but that's it.
