No more fog, clear and acute....no headache.
No explosive poop, just BM's you could set a swiss watch to once a day.
Ate less today maybe 16-18oz of steak that's it. Didn't want more.
Not hungry, do not feel limited. Now that I am feeling better plan on adding more excercse in particular walking...and as soon as I can my bike.
Based on everything I have read, I have gone into ketosis near record time, have had very mild bowel issues, and am having amazingly few side effects. (two days sucked badly though)
MY guess as to reasons:
A) I been sorta low carb since last time I did keto, I wasn't in ketosis but more like south beach so it wasn't that drastic for me.
B) I did keto before, I know about electrolites, liver suppliments, magnesium, and the importance of fat over protein....so passed bad keto decisions were made and I learned from them.
C) Everyone said either do carnivore, or do warior fast but it would be crazy to do both at once. WRONG WRONG Do both at once, embrace the suck, and be done with the suck more quickly....it's just food. It's not water boarding.... the 20/4 warrior fast deffinately I think is biggest reason short switch over time to ketosis. If I had worked out more it would have been probably better. However my health issues did not allow as much as I would like, and excercise was MINIMAL. However working out during switch over would also suck.... like a black bear I slept though it. D) I'm fat but I always had muscle, been working on my rehab and doing basic strength stuff ever since covid....haven't done cardio like I should but the fuel burner muscle was always there.
Diet: 80% beef of various whatever is affordable....got extra large roast and butchered it into steaks etc there are ways to make this affordable. Also Eggs...lots of eggs....if I had autoimmune issues that might be a problem chickens are filthy.....but eggs have been fine for me. Also lots and LOTS of WONDERFUL BACON. (clean bacon now though no sugar, no nitrates) Using onions, peppers and garlic for flavor in cooking, eat saurkraut some to aid digestion, and a spoonful of no sugar added plain as hell greek yogurt for probiotics. Also not really totally Carno, but eating cheese, as hard and brittle as possible. Chedder, Gouda, Smoked Gruyere, and if I can find some REAL parmesean will add it. I never planned to do 100% pure carnivore..this is basically more carno then keto though.
Added Bonus my dog loves me even more and is my new shadow..he very much approves of my diet. Added bonus my asthma already is much better in the middle of rag weed hell. Added bonus either my poop doesn't smell this time, or my covid nose can't detect it....will look for signs of family avoidance. Attribute to extra probiotics
TOO early to claim any victory but I feel like this is a good start.
