Dinner plans are different now that it's usually just me and Tiffany. I'm probably going to Ingles tonight, gonna try a small London broil tomorrow though.

@Behr - a little surprise: it turns out that the short ribs we had in the freezer are flanken cut, the cut used for Asian short ribs. They’re thawed, and we’re using them for the more common Italian/English flavors.

Will this mean a shorter cooking time and/or lower temp? I’ll be braising them on the range in a Dutch oven. thanks!

- Oh, and I’m tackling polenta as a side.

Oh yes, a lot shorter, but I can't really say about the temp because that type of cut for your use is best wrapped in aluminum foil and microwaved on low.
