Just got back from Krogers. Bone in rib roast and a rack of ribs. Rib roast is on special at $5.86 pp.
I've done prime rib the past few years, I'm just going to grill tomorrow. Neighbor made a chicken and dressing for us yesterday, that's gonna be dinner this evening. That, and the sugar and chocolate chip cookies Santa just bought himself 🤣. Speaking of, I gotta go hit the gym.

I went to a dinner last night with some friends from church last night. They had bone-in prime rib. I was worried it wasn't going to be good because I heard them talking about it while checking the temp. I asked how long and what temp they cooked it. At 2 hours it was 113° cooking at 350°. It was a whole rib she said about 19.5 lbs. They put it back in for about 30 more minutes and served it.

I don't normally offer advice or opinion unless asked, so I started figuring out what I was gonna say when they asked me how it was.

I know she didn't lie but either I misunderstood or she she gave bad info because it was excellent as far as tenderness and temp, but she didn't season it...at all.

She got it at Publix $6.49 lb.

I forgot to take pics of the food but I did get some of the puppies.

And the TV screen that was cool. The little TV in the corner was playing Christmas movies.
