Why Gain? And why liquid?

Tiffany prefers the smell of gain, that's the only reason honestly . I guess just habit on liquid, but we have bought pods for lije vacation, and use them rarely at home. I haven't used powder ever since married.

Our washer is a front-loader.

Tide Free & Gentle pods - yummy! (pods work well with front-loaders; no measuring etc.) I don’t want my laundry smelling flowery or whatever

No fabric softener - ditto on scents, towels with fabric softener don’t absorb water as well, and the sheets can be fire hazards

OxiClean White Revive pods - for all the mistreated white men - I guess these are booster crystals? peroxide; no measuring, no splashing

Clorox or store brands if I need actual bleach

Stuck on where my mind is going with sheets being fire hazards. That's a lot of friction.
