And I’m currently trying out a tortilla soup. Thanks for nothing B-hr. Have Chup deliver a bowl and I’ll compare mine to yours

Its expected. Most of the time.

and to be fair, I wouldn't change the ingredients, just the amount. Unless you tell me to put cinnamon in it. In which case, I'd probably just throw the recipe away. I don't know why, but I hate cinnamon. It's awful.

For my soup, I'm using chicken (shocker), chicken stock, onion, poblano, jalapeno, bell pepper, two celery stocks, canned chiles, garlic, canned tomatoes and the following spices:

Cayenne pepper
chipotle
cumin
bay leaf
lime juice
chili powder
cilantro
crushed red pepper flake

Haha, sorry, I left for Church after my last post and just finished watching the Ladies. Go Vols!!

I'll be interested in hearing how good it was and what kind of cheese, flour or corn tortillas, chicken stock and if you garnished with avocados.

I've all but removed dairy from my diet so I probably will go no cheese, chicken stock was from the store (I'm living out a hotel, options are a little limited), corn tortillas (only correct answer) and yes to avocados.

You posted this while I was posting. Pretty much feel the same about cinnamon, except I'll use it with desserts.

Sounds good.

I wouldn't have used..

Poblano
Cayenne
Chipotle
Bell
Chili powder (I hate it)
Celery
Bay leaf

I would have used, in addition to everything else you used..

Lime juice
Tomato paste
Zucchini
Oregano
Olive oil

And obviously cheese and sour cream, I ain't on a diet that restricts me from dairy products.

I did use oregano and lime juice. I'm considering adding tomato paste. I used Coconut Oil instead of Olive oil. I debated between celery and zucchini. Currently I have a lot more celery than zucchini and zucchini is one of my favorite side dishes, so I saved it for later in the week.

so you take all the peppers out of it? Can't do it. Is there anything you'd do to make it spicy? Perhaps you use a lot more cumin and red pepper flake than I Do. Wait, does your list include paprika or no?

I use jalapenos, but no other peppers. Already enough going on and the heat from the japs is perfect. I don't use paprika. Crushed red pepper is a nice addition for more heat Imo.

I appreciate that bro. If I may, I request you say a prayer for the three stooges that have to ask permission to change the thermostat in their wives homes.
