Cuomo: Not just a murderer

Yeah, I don't think there's any doubt that there were major mistakes made at the onset of the virus that resulted in the untimely death of elderly folks in nursing homes. But to call Cuomo a "murderer" is akin to calling Eisenhower a murderer for the mistakes he made during D-Day that resulted in additional young men dying on the beaches of Normandy.

Can we please just move beyond the rhetoric.

Trump supporters don't like that he lost. I get it. But it's over. Let's move on.
How old are you. Seriously.

The comparison of Ike and Cuomo is beyond stupid.

BTW, Trumpsters, your basis for this entire thread is mostly false.

Politifact:

Michael Caputo
stated on August 17, 2020 in a tweet:

“Does the #DemConvention know @NYGovCuomo forced nursing homes across NY to take in COVID positive patients and planted the seeds of infection that killed thousands of grandmothers and grandfathers?”

Our ruling
In a tweet, the HHS assistant secretary for public affairs said that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo "forced" nursing homes across the state to admit COVID-positive patients and that this policy fueled the spread of COVID-19 that led to thousands of deaths in the nursing home population.

Although nursing homes felt pressure to accept COVID-positive patients, they were not actually forced to do so. State regulations require nursing homes to accept patients only if they can care for them, and they could have refused them on those grounds.

In addition, it’s unclear the extent to which the governor’s policy was responsible for nursing home COVID-19 deaths. Infection control is a longstanding problem in nursing homes that predates the pandemic and a report showed peak numbers of nursing home deaths came prior to the peak influx of patients as a result of Cuomo’s advisory. While the introduction of COVID-19 positive patients into nursing homes no doubt had an effect on infection spread, Caputo’s statement suggests it was solely responsible. That’s not what the evidence shows.

We rate this Mostly False.
Man that fact check is about as stupid as any fact check I’ve ever seen. First it says he didn’t force them into nursing homes, then it says we don’t know to what extent the governors policy (so there was a policy?) played in covid 19 deaths, and then it just takes some dudes quote and because he said “solely” they rate the whole fact check as mostly false. Like good god that is a dumbass fact check. Lefty’s and critical thinking....... like oil and water

Did Trump sign any middle eastern peace deals?

While subject A tweeted last night that trump signed his 4 middle eastern peace deals while doing a cartwheel. We found no evidence of trump doing a cartwheel.

NY State Assembly considers removing Governor Cuomo's emergency powers after his top aide admits they covered-up true scale of nursing home deaths amid fear of Trump DOJ investigation into them

The New York State Assembly Majority is considering rescinding emergency powers granted to Governor Andrew Cuomo to manage the coronavirus pandemic after a top aide admitted their administration hid damning information about deaths among nursing home patients, according to a report from NY1.

In a remarkable confession made during a conference call with state Democrats, obtained by The New York Post, Melissa DeRosa, secretary to Cuomo, admitted that officials 'froze' in August when former President Donald Trump's Department of Justice asked for the data, before rebuffing the request.

DeRosa told lawmakers: 'We were in a position where we weren't sure if what we were going to give to the Department of Justice, or what we give to you guys, what we start saying, was going to be used against us while we weren't sure if there was going to be an investigation.'

The data remained secret for months until January, when a shocking report from New York Attorney General Letitia James' office said the state had undercounted the number of nursing home deaths by as much as 50 percent.

PIERS MORGAN: The Emmy for shameful lying, slippery obfuscation and deadly dereliction of duty in a pandemic goes to ... Governor 'Saint' Andrew Cuomo'

When New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo held his lengthy daily pressers during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, I tweeted my praise for his style.

'Incredibly impressed by Gov. Cuomo's leadership,' I wrote last May. 'Firm, factual, empathetic.'

Nobody was more pleased with his performance than the Governor himself, who embarked on an extraordinary victory tour last Fall promoting a book entitled: 'American Crisis: leadership lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic.'

During the presentation of Cuomo's Emmy, liberal celebrities queued up to pay nauseating homage.

In his acceptance speech, Cuomo said of his briefings: 'They offered only one thing; authentic truth. But sometimes that's enough.'

Well yes, unless it's not actually the authentic truth obviously.

Cuomo paraded around the late-night talk shows boasting of his 'truth-telling.'

CNN viewers were even treated to regular schmaltzy appearances by the Governor on his brother Chris Cuomo's prime-time show.

Because it turns out that Governor Cuomo is an insincere, inauthentic, shameless liar who deliberately hid the shocking truth about New York State's nursing-home death toll to protect his self-acclaimed hero halo.

Fox News’ Janice Dean calls for Cuomo to RESIGN over nursing home deaths cover-up and be prosecuted as she seeks justice for her in-laws who died of COVID-19 in facilities

Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean is calling for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign and to be prosecuted after a top aide admitted the administration covered up data about coronavirus-related nursing home deaths

In a conference call with state Democrats, obtained by The New York Post, Melissa DeRosa, secretary to Cuomo, confessed that officials 'froze' in August when the state legislature asked for the data, before rebuffing the request.

Among those deaths are Dean's own father- and mother-in-law, who died from COVID-19 in March and April, respectively.

Dean told DailyMail.com that she believes Cuomo should resign but, first and foremost, he needs to face consequences for his actions.

New York needs the truth about the Cuomo administration coverup of nursing-home deaths — and that means an independent federal investigation.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s top aide confessed privately this week that the administration suppressed the true COVID toll in the homes. She also offered an apology — not to the thousands of New York families who needlessly lost loved ones thanks to her boss’s mismanagement but to Democratic lawmakers put in a difficult “political position with the Republicans” by the coverup.

A federal investigation may be the only way to get the full truth of Team Cuomo’s order to nursing homes, populated by those most vulnerable to the virus, to take in COVID-positive patients. Not just the “what” of how many lives it cost, but the “why” behind this madness, and the months and months of coverup.

Read several articles on this. Hey let her have her day in court fine by me. And she claims others were harassed also I believe?

But as much as I can’t stand Cuomo and as much as I can see this possibly having occurred, reading this chick’s background I can see her going for 15 minutes of fame trying to get some cred somehow. She’s tried and failed multiple times on the political front. Plus... I’d expect if Cuomo was gonna chase some split tail he’d have a tad higher bar 🤷‍♂️
Must believe

How do we get such trash leaders?
Think about it. If one of your family members was a victim of such or a victim of illegal criminal activity? Who is responsible for not just incompetence, but disregard for law in the name of politics.
A large number of people.
