His mismanagement was on full display there. That ship was for non Covid patients only. Then the first people who are sent there have covid. You don't want Covid people on damn boat. So they crapped all over their own hospital over flow plan. Which to your point, was grossly exaggerated.

No doubt..there was come confusion at the time...is the boat for COVID patients? How is a hospital different than a medical ship?

There is that. Also as Governor of NY, who was going on tv every night, he's going to get coverage nationally. Then add that his brother is an anchor at CNN. The real issue is that this nursing home crap, perhaps not to the extent, has been known forever and the media largely ignored it.

The ventilation is why it was for non Covid overflow. Think of a cruise ship and why they are problematic.

I was just asking. I cannot speak to the differnces in HVAC for each, or if it was just close contact. Those cruise ships when no one really knew the disease at the time with no mitigation, I think not apples to apples.

I get it. And yea it's not apples to apples for sure. I remember NGV, I believe, making a really long and informative post about the different types of ventilation for certain floors of hospitals and it stuck with me. Considering a military hospital ships primary use would be major trauma type situations, I would assume, I doubt they are set up like hospitals. I am positive that the ships were meant for non Covid patients.

I am not even sure we really know much, or are being truthfully told,much about any of this. Spouses get it and die, other spouse no problem. Just so bizarre.
If this was so contagious thru ventilation then I would assume it much worse regardless of a ship or hospital.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has been mocked online for failing on Friday to mention the scandal surrounding his older brother Andrew, the governor of New York.

One social media user said she was 'disappointed', while another joked that there was 'big news coming out of New York state' that Chris Cuomo ignored.

'How convenient,' said another.

Andrew Cuomo, 63, has been rocked by the confession on Thursday of his top aide, Melissa DeRosa, that they deliberately hid data on nursing home COVID deaths, in the midst of a Justice Department investigation into their handling of the pandemic.

He is yet to comment on the scandal, which is seeing mounting calls for him to resign.

On Friday night CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Erin Burnett covered the story, with Tapper tweeting that it 'keeps getting worse', but Chris Cuomo, 50, instead dedicated his entire show to Donald Trump's impeachment trial.

Because a hospital has to care for other nonCovid related patients while the ship was just for that purpose. But it was never utilized
